PSY 327 Experimental Psychology: Circulating

A resource guide for Professor Carpino's Experimental Psychology

Circulating Books

Books in the circulating section, mainly referred to as monographs when they are nonfiction, are geared toward a single subject and revolve around one main argument. In a social science such as Psychology, monographs will not have the most current research going on in the field. They can supply a good source for background and time tested theories.

Library Catalog

Use the Catalog efficiently

One good method to produce fruitful searches in any library catalog is to determine different "subject catagories" that your topic may fall under. Once these are discovered, you can search that subject along with different keywords to help narrow your search. Do this in the "Advanced Search" option.

1. Click on Advanced Search

2. Enter your Subject in one line, and your Keyword(s) in the others
