Below is a link to a great video that shows the 7 Steps strategy used in a high school culinary arts class. With our increasing population of international students, this may be a helpful strategy for faculty to be aware of. At minimum, it forces students to engage with the vocabulary and helps instructors to consider the terms that students really need to know to be successful in understanding the content (Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 words).
