You can search the library's collection of books and e-books online using the library catalog. To use the catalog, enter the title of the book you're looking for, or the topic that you're researching in the main search box. If you cannot find the book you're looking for in the catalog, it is likely a title we do not have access to. If you'd still like to get a copy of the book, or a chapter of the book, you can request a copy through interlibrary loan.
The catalog defaults to search the local C/W Mars Consortium, but you can narrow the search to the "AMC Mondor-Eagen Library".

To access our catalog and databases remotely, you'll need to log in with your library credentials. Enter your library account number, which should be on the back of your student ID, if you were issued one (look for a barcode labeled Mondor-Eagen Library and a 14-digit number beginning with "204640..."). Your library number may also be in your WebAMC account.
Your password will likely be your last name in all capital letters. If your last name is fewer than four letters, add letters from your first name.
For example:
Taylor Smith = SMITH
Justin Ore = JORE
Sarah Ng = SANG
If you have a hyphenated name, or have multiple names, use whichever comes last.
For example:
Colin Harris-Murray = MURRAY
Caroline Rivera Gomez = GOMEZ

There are a few options to find out what books are available at other libraries:
C/W MARS: The Central/Western Massachusetts Resource Sharing Consortium (C/W MARS) is made up of 100+ academic and public libraries. Search the entire C/W MARS collection in the library catalog by changing the "Library" dropdown menu on the far right of the screen to "All C/W Mars Libraries." To request books from these libraries, click the "Place hold" button on the book you want, and enter your library credentials. When the book comes in (which usually takes ~1 week), you can pick it up at the AMC Library.
ARC Libraries: Our library is also a part of the Academic & Research Collaborative (ARC)! This allows Anna Maria students and faculty to visit other participating libraries to check out books, and use their electronic resources while on site. To do this, you must come in to the library and sign up for an ARC card before visiting the other libraries. For more information and a list of participating libraries, check the ARC website.
OCLC Worldcat: Search for books that may not be available in our area using Worldcat and place an inter-library loan request to have the item shipped here for pickup.
